About me
I started my fitness journey in 2021 with the goal of radically changing my body; I wanted to look “toned”, because it was all I thought fitness was. Since then I’ve been through multiple phases in my fitness journey, but one thing remained consistent - perseverance. I’ve been through many challenges, including obesity, insulin resistance, injury, chronic pain, a nerve condition, a connective tissue disorder, and mental health struggles. Through trial, error, and expert advice from multiple professionals, I discovered how to work with my body, and throughout the process exercise has continued to improve my life.
How can this help you?
As personal trainers we learn about barriers to fitness, but I have more than a theoretical understanding - I’ve lived many of them firsthand. This gives me unique insight into the lived human experience. We don’t have bodies from textbooks, but we can adapt exercises for our own enjoyment and well being. Strength isn’t about perfection, it’s about consistent progress that respects your body. I can use the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years to help you shape your own fitness journey, whatever your challenges may be.
